Reviews From Some of Our Guests: Date of Stay: August 2013 Posted On: 9/12/13 by Greg and Lexi C. We had high expectations going into this rental, as online it had looked and sounded perfect. The reality exceeded our expectations. We were more than pleased at the strong, positive memories we created here. The layout of the house was roomy yet comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed- and we cooked quite a bit. The beds were comfortable, and seating was ample. The town of Inlet was fantastic- quaint, yet had everything we needed. Old Forge felt like "the big city" in comparison. Dining and entertainment options were plentiful. We packed so much in, and yet could easily have filled another week. The people in this area were awesome- chill, friendly, and honest. Between the house and the location, it truly felt like a "home away from home"!! We would highly recommend Camp Big Fish :) Owner's ResponseThanks Greg for the great review, we love to hear we are reaching our goals of providing an exceptional vacation experience! Thanks again, Liz and Dave
Date of Stay: July 2013 Posted On: 8/14/13 by David S. Our stay at this cabin was a wonderful rest. We like to canoe and kayak and this location is convenient to many lakes and the Moose River allowing us to go out every morning. There is a lake within walking distance and we cooled off there many times during our stay. We also took advantage of the fire pit and read scary stories from their collection a couple of evenings. The cabin is nicely outfitted for cooking and dining inside or out. The WiFi was also appreciated as one of us had to do some work. It is a peacefull retreat that is not too far from stores and restaurants. Owner's ResponseThanks Dave for the nice review! 4th Lake is a centrally located area for almost any adventure in the Adirondacks! We love to hear that our guests are comfortable and relaxed, that is our goal! Keep us in mind for another visit!
Date of Stay: July 2013 Posted On: 8/1/13 by Pamela I. The Cabin was everything promised in the advertisement! Comfortable, clean, and plenty of room for 6 of us. My husband was a bit frustrated with teeny, tiny shower in first floor bdrm but the upstairs shower worked out fine! Loved the fire pit area near the water and the dock/water were quite convenient for adults and teens. Young children might be a challenge with rocky/deep "beach" area but Inlet beach is a quick car ride away. Cute community with plenty to do re - hiking, swimming, boating. A relaxing, fun vacation. Thank you! Owner's ResponseThanks so much for the review! Glad you enjoyed the Inlet area, it has so much to offer everyone! Sorry about the tiny shower (not much we can do about that one!) it is great for kids and the upstairs works perfect for adults...as you discovered!
